language education organization

Ars 2.0 is an association that operates in the fields of language teaching and art.

Ars 2.0 is a Social Promotion Association (APS) registered in the RUNTS (National Single Register of the Third Sector). We operate as a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural and linguistic integration. We are members of the "Rete Scuole Migranti" (Migrant School Network), which brings together study centers, schools, and associations providing language training to migrants and asylum seekers.

The association is also involved in research in the field of new technologies applied to language teaching. Ars 2.0 offers online courses, produces free multimedia material available through its website and major social networks.

The headquarters is in the heart of the Esquilino district, where it promotes projects aimed at migrants and university students.
Ars 2.0 is an accredited examination center at CEDIS for the CELI certification in Italian as a second language from the University for Foreigners of Perugia. At Ars 2.0, it is possible to attend glottodidactic orientation courses and participate in internship activities organized by senior teachers. The association has an agreement with Roma Tre University for curricular internships.

The proceeds from our language courses and CELI certifications are entirely reinvested in funding our social projects, free workshops for migrants, and cultural activities in the Esquilino district of Rome.

Language always on stage

Italian for Art

Integrate with art and music

Workshops designed for students of academies and conservatories, where Italian is learned through the language of art, music, and creativity.

A theatrical method that transforms the lesson into a stage for learning: voice, body, and emotions become tools for learning to communicate in an authentic and natural way.

Cultural and social projects that foster encounters between different cultures, using artistic expression as a bridge for communication, inclusion, and personal growth.

Hello everyone, my name is Jinwei, but you can call me Silvia. I studied at the Academy of Arts of Qingdao Technological University. I worked at my university as an Italian and Chinese teacher. I then decided to obtain the DILS-PG certification because I wanted to deepen my knowledge of modern approaches to language teaching. For many years (don't ask me how many!) I have worked as a photographer.

I like: Korea, dancing, Italian cuisine, mushroom picking, and vampires.

Giulia Tracanna

Italian teacher

Hi, I'm Giulia! Before specializing in teaching Italian to foreigners at the University for Foreigners of Siena, I graduated in Oriental Languages and Civilizations at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where I studied Chinese. Afterwards, I continued my studies, became a CELI examiner, obtained the Dils-Pg certification, completed my master's degree in Pedagogical Sciences... and now I do theater and jujitsu. Why do I love my job? Because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world!
I like: singing, drawing, watching horror movies, and spending time with friends

Italian teacher

Hi! My name is Giulia and I am an Italian teacher for foreigners. During high school, I studied psycho-pedagogy and attended theater courses, so I learned to do my job with a lot of sensitivity and empathy, understanding the needs of my students. I studied Chinese at Sapienza University. My curiosity about the different cultures of the world made me passionate about teaching Italian to foreigners, so I obtained the Dils-Pg teaching certification. I like: theater, cinema, acting, Asian TV series, traveling, and tasting typical dishes from all over the world.
